All colleagues in hotel were all very good. Food at the restaurant was super and great to see the chef come out and talk us through the menu we had. Views from the bedroom were great.

Very warm welcome by our hosts. The late night toasties saved our lives :) We had our best English breakfast (fresh products and prepared with care) of the whole holidays. The rooms are very comfortable in which we slept like babies.

Apartment was fabulous. It was light, airy, clean, comfortable, the views were amazing & it was beautifully decorated.
Ventnor was a lovely place too.
The hosts were very accommodating & helpful. We are 2 friends who wanted to do some of the cycling routes on the IOW & the hosts also went out of their way to help us store our bikes securely overnight if we needed to.
Everything was perfect.

Lovely town on a steep hillside, with a sandy beach at the bottom. Really lovely food at the pub The Spyglass. Botanical Gardens are wonderful, cliff walk lovely in both directions, and a great walk up on to the downs from where you can see the whole Island. Really loved the town, wasn't too big.
Really loved the town, wasn't too big. Had shops to cater for all you would need. Very clean. Every where we went the people always welcoming and so friendly. Lots of great walks on your doorstep whether it is along the coast or across the downs. Or there is a great bus service that can take you to the popular attractions. Eating out there were all manner of food you could enjoy. Also at all price levels to suit your budget. Have to say our absolute favourite place to eat based on price and quality was The Bistro. Has extremely steep hills to get down to the esplanade so would require you to drive if you had any mobility issues. Would highly recommend.

Ventnor has lots to recommend it when taken individually - a variety of bars, cafes restaurants and pubs, a couple of mini supermarkets, a lot of quirky independent shops and antique shops, car parking, kids play areas, beach and some walkable attractions. The difficulty is the roads linking the downs, town and beach and all very steep, narrow and winding which made us think twice about getting the car out sometimes.MikeUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Still a bit run down,but the Town is on the Up.Lovely Beach and Esplanade The Town still harbours a few Alkies and Drug users,but they seem to appear to be on the Decline.Ventnor is very Hilly so be warned.The Spyglass is the best pub in Ventnor

The room we were in number 18 had fantastic views. It was lovely nodding off to sleep in the night with the sound of the sea just lovely. This was our first visit to ventnor and this hotel. And we will be back definetely in the summer. We have just got back home after our two days there looking out onto my garden doesn't quite seem the same. Thank you ever so much wellington hotel keep up the exceptional work

I am surprised at the rates this hotel charges it is very good value for money and I would have expected to pay more for accommodation of this standard. there is a swimming pool and a bar is open for residents in the day time, if I am in the area again this will definitely be the place I will stay

Paid carpark is not far so makes travelling round island easy and we use this as our base. Have everything inside flat, very pleased with it. The fresh bouquet on the dining table and the outside barbecue is a plus.
